How is an IoT SIM different from a consumer SIM?

An IoT SIM is designed for unattended devices: it tolerates extreme temperature ranges, has a longer shelf life, supports private APN, static IP and permanent multi-carrier roaming. Consumer SIMs get blocked by anti-fraud policies the moment they detect M2M-style usage — that does not happen with our SIMs.

How many countries do you cover?

More than 200. In Spain we run on Telefónica (Kite) for the best M2M coverage in the country. Outside Spain the SIMs are multi-carrier: they automatically latch onto the best available network without surprise roaming charges.

Which network technologies do your SIMs support?

2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G NSA, LTE-M and NB-IoT. You can pick the right profile for the device: 4G for video streaming, LTE-M/NB-IoT for low-power sensors with multi-year battery life.

Do you offer eSIM?

Yes. We ship eSIM for certified devices (soldered MFF2 and eUICC). It's ideal for OEMs producing at scale who don't want to handle a physical SIM on every unit.

How does the pricing model work?

Three models: pay-as-you-go (you only pay for the traffic you consume), data bundles (monthly quota per SIM), and shared-data pools (one aggregated pool for the whole fleet). We pick the model with you based on the device type and expected usage.

Are there long-term commitments or lock-in?

No. We come from the prepaid world, so by default there is no lock-in. If a project needs multi-year pricing for a large deployment we sign a framework agreement, but it's not required.

Is there a minimum order or activation fee?

No per-SIM activation fee. You pay for the physical SIM and its plan. For large deployments we tailor the commercials.

How is billing handled?

Monthly invoice, net 30, itemized by SIM and technology. You can export usage from the portal in CSV for your ERP.

SIMs ship with on-demand activation from the portal. Once inserted, activation is immediate (minutes). No waiting for carrier provisioning queues.

Which APN should I configure?

For the standard profile we use a public encrypted APN. If you contract a private APN, we deliver the credentials and the specific configuration. A private APN is usually baked once into the firmware image and stays fixed.

Can I test the SIMs before a large order?

Yes. We ship pilot SIMs so you can validate coverage and device behavior in your real environment before a volume deployment.

Do you offer static IP?

Yes. We can assign public or private static IP over a dedicated APN. Static IP is required for CCTV NVRs, EV chargers speaking OCPP, and any backend that needs to open an inbound connection to the device.

What is a private APN and when does it make sense?

It's a dedicated access point for your company that separates your M2M traffic from public traffic. On top of it we can run IPsec VPN directly to your data center or cloud, custom IP ranges and firewall rules. Recommended for critical industrial, energy and security projects.

How do you handle SIM security?

Each SIM can have traffic rules (IP/domain whitelists), usage caps, alerts on deviation and automatic blocking. Communications travel encrypted over private APN and optionally end-to-end VPN.

Do you have an API for integration?

Yes. The portal exposes a REST API for activation, deactivation, usage queries, APN management and events. Our larger customers use it to sync their ERP or operations platform with the real state of their SIMs.

How does international roaming work?

Multi-carrier SIMs latch onto the best available carrier in each country — no traditional roaming, no per-country surcharges. This matters in logistics, international transport and connected vehicles.

Are there countries with regulatory restrictions?

Some countries enforce permanent-roaming rules (Brazil, Turkey, India, China) that require local solutions. We flag it upfront and, when applicable, propose a territory-specific configuration.
