IoT SIM pricing and plans

An IoT SIM costs from €0.005/MB on pay-as-you-go, with no per-SIM minimum and no lock-in. A low-usage device — an alarm panel, a meter or a GPS tracker — typically lands at a few cents a month, while a 4G camera can run to several euros. The cost depends on data volume, the zone and the extras you need.

Below: the price table by plan type, the four factors that actually move the bill, and real usage figures per device type so you can estimate your own case before talking to anyone.

Pricing by plan type

Every plan includes the multi-network SIM (Movistar, Vodafone and Orange in Spain, 750+ networks across 190+ countries), the management portal and the REST API. Billed in euros from Spain, no lock-in.

What makes an IoT SIM cost more or less

Data volume, not the number of SIMs

The dominant variable is how many megabytes each device moves per month. An alarm panel sending only keep-alives and events uses very little; a camera uploading video can use a thousand times more. That is why pay-as-you-go is cheap for telemetry and expensive for video, where a fixed bundle fits better.

The zone the device operates in

Price per MB varies by zone. Spain and the EU are the cheapest; zones such as the Gulf, Latin America or Asia-Pacific carry different rates depending on each network's roaming agreements. If your asset crosses borders, say so when you request a quote and we size it to that profile.

The extras your architecture needs

Static IP and private APN are paid add-ons. Not everyone needs them: a tracker that opens a connection out to your server does not need a static IP, but a camera you want to reach from outside, or a panel behind a firewall that filters by source, does.

SIM format and technology

Triple-cut 2FF/3FF/4FF is the standard. Solderable MFF2 and eUICC eSIM carry a different unit cost and earn it in OEM integration or wherever you cannot send someone to swap a card. The radio technology (4G, LTE-M, NB-IoT) does not by itself change the price of the data.

What each device type actually uses

Monthly usage estimates by equipment type. These are orders of magnitude to help you do your own maths, not a fixed tariff: real usage depends on reporting frequency and configuration.

The cheap way to stop guessing

Before sizing anything, measure. The SIM Test Kit costs €15 VAT included and contains one multi-format SIM (2FF/3FF/4FF) with 1 GB valid for 12 months, free shipping in Spain. Put it in your real device, leave it a week or two, and read the exact usage in the portal. With that number, the estimate stops being a guess.

Pricing FAQ

How much does an IoT SIM card cost per month?

It depends almost entirely on the data the device uses. On pay-as-you-go you start from €0.005/MB with no per-SIM minimum, so a telemetry device using a few megabytes lands at cents per month. A 4G camera uploading video is a different order of magnitude and belongs on a fixed data bundle. Give us the device type and reporting frequency and we estimate it before you commit.

Is there a minimum fee or lock-in?

No lock-in and no per-SIM minimum on pay-as-you-go. You can start with one SIM and grow from there. Enterprise plans with SLA and a dedicated APN are contracted on custom terms, but those are agreed in writing up front.

Does the price include international roaming?

The SIM operates on 750+ networks in 190+ countries with no card swap and no separate bundles, but the price per MB varies by zone. There is no surprise surcharge: the per-zone rate is confirmed in the proposal before you buy.

How much do static IP and private APN cost?

They are paid add-ons quoted separately, because not everyone needs them. Static IP is contracted per SIM and a private APN makes sense from a certain number of SIMs upward. The static IP and private APN pages cover what each one actually solves.

What happens if I exceed my data bundle?

You can configure usage alerts and an automatic cut-off, so a device that misbehaves does not generate an unexpected invoice. On a pooled bundle, overage is offset by the devices consuming below their share.

Can I test it before committing?

Yes, and we recommend it. The SIM Test Kit is €15 VAT included for one multi-format SIM (2FF/3FF/4FF) with 1 GB for 12 months, free shipping in Spain. You measure your device's real usage in the portal and then size the plan with data instead of estimates.
