Compatibility: works in trackers that accept third-party SIMs, which covers most professional units — Teltonika (FMB and FMC series), Queclink, Concox/Jimi, Ruptela and equivalents. Consumer trackers sold with a closed manufacturer subscription usually ship a locked SIM and will not take an external one.

Frequently asked questions

What SIM card does a GPS tracker need?
An M2M data SIM in the format the device accepts (mini 2FF, micro 3FF or nano 4FF; our triple-cut covers all three). The tracker only needs data to send position frames — no voice minutes — and monthly usage is a few megabytes. What matters is that the SIM does not depend on a single carrier, because the device moves, and that it does not expire through inactivity.
Can I put a normal prepaid SIM in a GPS tracker?
It sometimes starts up, but it will not last: consumer prepaid SIMs get deactivated through inactivity without top-ups, are tied to one network, and some block M2M data traffic. And as soon as the vehicle enters an area where that carrier has a hole, you lose the trail. A multi-network M2M SIM is designed for exactly this use.
Does it work when the vehicle leaves the country?
Yes. The same SIM operates on 750+ networks in 190+ countries, including the whole EU, with no card swap and no separate bundles. If you run international routes regularly, tell us when you request a quote and we size the tariff to that profile.
How much data does a tracker use per month?
It depends mostly on reporting frequency: a tracker sending position every few minutes uses a few megabytes a month, while one reporting every few seconds, or adding sensors or images, uses considerably more. Tell us the frequency and the number of units and we estimate it before you commit.
My trackers are 2G — does the shutdown affect me?
Yes, and it is worth planning. When a carrier retires its 2G network, a 2G-only tracker stops reporting. Our SIMs cover 4G LTE, LTE-M and NB-IoT as well as the legacy bands, so the SIM is not the constraint — the device modem is. The sensible approach is migrating the old estate in stages; our 2G sunset guide covers the timeline.
